About The Founder

– The founder of the organization Engineer Hassan Zumrawi Mohamed Osman was born in 1970 in the city of Kerma, the historic city of northern Sudan, which was founded in year 2500 before the birth of Christ (peace be upon him).

– He moved with his family in 1979 to Omdurman, the national capital of Sudan, after studying first and second grades at the elementary school of Kerma.

– Completed the study of the primary school at the school of Abu Sied (B), and graduated in 1983 – and was the first on the school -.

– Studied the middle school at the AbuKadouk Middle School; which had a great impact on the composition of his personality.

– Studied the high school at Almutamar High School in Omdurman, and graduated in 1989.

– Studied for two months – only – at the University of Khartoum in the Faculty of Science (Department of Mathematics).

– and then he had the opportunity to travel to the United States of America; to join his two older brothers: Engineer Omar Zumrawi – Minister of Transportation of the State of Illinois now – and Dr. Ali Zumrawi – Director of Baptist hospital in the city of Beaumont, Texas.

– Engineer Hassan traveled to America to study civil engineering at Southern University – lying on the banks of the Mississippi River Dreamer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

– Graduated from the Southern University in 1997: second place among the students of civil engineering, and sixth place among the students of entire engineering faculty with its various departments.

– Worked as a civil engineer in the field of road engineering in the states of Missouri and Illinois between 1997 and 2008 (1418 to 1429 AH).

– Worked as a civil engineer with Zuhair Fayez Partnership as the director of the technical support project of the Holy City of Mekkah in 2009 (1429 Hijri).

– Then he worked as a civil engineer with Zuhair Fayez and his company responsible for the preliminary studies of the integrated projects of the municipalities of Madinah Region in 2010 (1431 H).

– Then he worked as a project manager at Gulf Engineering and Industrial Consulting Company in Doha, Qatar in 2012/2011 (1433/1432 Hijri).

He then returned to America and worked as a Civil Engineer at Michael Baker International in Chicago.

– Then resigned from Michael Baker and devoted his life for charity work.

– Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

– Member of the Union of Southern University Students, Louisiana – representing foreign students.

– Academic Excellent Chairperson of the National Society of Civil Engineering, Southern University Chapter.

– Member of the Association of African students Association at Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

  • After graduation:

– Founder and President of AbuKadouk Middle School Alumni Association in Omdurman – Sudan since 2005.

– Representative of the Friends of Kidney Patients Society in Peoria, Illinois.

– Founder and President of AbuSied Elementary School Alumni Association in Omdurman – Sudan since 2018.

– Founder and President of Almutamar High School Alumni Association in Omdurman – Sudan since 2020. 

– Member of the Islamic Society of North America; which is the largest gathering of Muslims with various denominations in North America.

– Member of the General Assembly of Sadagat Basma Charity Organization in Sudan.

– Member of the Association of Arab American Engineers and Architects in Chicago.

– Participated as a part time Imam at Dar Al-Hijra Mosque in Chicago, USA.

– Advisor of Kids 4 Kids organization to help homeless kids in Sudan which is the idea of his older son Mustafa.
