Description of the project:
This proposed mosque is located in Sukota, Gambia, West Africa. One of the donors donated for the construction of this mosque, but she had died, may God have mercy on her, before the completion of the construction. The city of Sukota is the capital of the State of North Kembo and is considered a somewhat large city and away from the capital, Banjul, 15 km and has a population of about 40,675 people, and the number of mosques in which there are approximately 25 mosques, and the tribes inhabiting this city are the tribes of Mindenko, Wolof, Jolla and Voula. The mayor of this city is Ghouth Puja, who belongs to the Manduka tribe and is a well-known man in the field of teaching English. As for the prospect of leading this mosque after its completion, Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim Conti, who is currently studying in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the Islamic University of Madinah. It is expected to pray 500 Muslims in this mosque and the mosque will be expandable in the future if possible. The mosque is part of a large Islamic complex that includes a school for orphans, housing for them and a meeting room at an additional cost of $ 80,000, which will be built in the second phase, God willing.
