Construction of Islamic Center in Ghana – City of Outiam
This project will be implemented in cooperation with the Abdul Razzaq Charitable Foundation.
Project Description:
This Islamic center is in the city of Otiam, which is located 200 km southwest of the city of Accra, the capital of Ghana in West Africa. The population of this city is estimated at 5,000 people, including 1,000 Muslims.
This proposed Islamic center contains: a mosque, a middle school, a high school, a library, a restaurant, and a boarding house for students.
This project is considered one of the most important projects proposed to be implemented in the initial phase of the organization’s projects. This is because the Muslim population of the city of Outiam only has a primary school and does not have a middle or high school, and therefore Muslims are forced to teach their children in Catholic or Qadiani middle and high schools. Thus, their beliefs are destroyed, and they grow up with beliefs that deviate from the religion of Islam.
Project cost: 106,000 US dollars
